Foodies, rejoice as Egypt started its first-ever Food Week. Introduced on June 1, Cairo Food Week had its opening night at the Grand Egyptian Museum through a speculative and sensory food journey called “The King’s Banquet” produced by the Alchemy Experience, spearheaded by Egypt’s popular style studio of the exact same name.

Beyond that, the 10-day event will revolve around renowned chefs pertaining to Egypt to collaborate with local talent during a series of cooking sessions throughout Cairo’s top restaurants. Bringing local and international skills together, through creativity and experimentation, the chefs will develop ingenious meals that fuse East and West.

Every day will be devoted to a cooking duo and these sessions will start from June 2 with that day devoted to the world of pastries and desserts.
